Cover Lover #14

Cover Lover features covers that catch my eye in some way, whether good or bad, and you’re very welcome to steal the header image and join in yourself. Link up your posts in the comments. And yes, that is a rather naff rainbow-heart.

This cover was love at first sight. Seriously. The gorgeous… everything. The anthology itself focuses around the image, with authors asked to write a short story influenced by the image used in the cover art. This has to be one of my favourite ideas for an anthology yet.

Goodreads.

What do you think of this one?

I’ve removed the Linky option for now as poor Angelya was the lone entrant! Will definitely re-add it if there’s more interest to join in but for now please do join in and link your posts in the comments so that I can come and say hello :)

  1. I am going to start doing this, honest! I’m just still scrambling to catch up with blog stuff at the moment.

I love the idea of this anthology. Although little people in red-hooded coats scare me ever since I watched Don’t Look Now as a teen.

  2. This cover is gorgeous. It is so simple and striking with the white of the snow and then the figure in red. Makes me want to frame it :)

  3. Haha! Oh well, I’ve been quite enjoying having a nice easy meme to join in with xD
This cover is interesting! I’ll admit at first I was completely focused on the red hooded figure and didn’t notice the castle in the background until later! Have you read it Hannah? Any good?
